Does anyone know if Overture (or anyone else) has a programming API available? (preferably java)

Not sure what you mean exactly, but I'll take a stab at an answer. As far as I know, for non-commercial uses (PPC management software), Overture does not support a way to talk directly to their servers. I have heard that they support XML feeds if you are using an approved PPC management application. However, if you would like to connect to their servers using your own software, you will have to email them and ask for an agreement. Then, you will still be scripting the basic HTML that comes from their servers-- with all of the pretty graphics and extra headers to slow everything down. Seems like a waste to me, but if that is what they want...
