However, AdWords is charging me in pence. This means that I am paying nearly double more (5 pence as opposed to 3 pence).
I have various sites which are hosted in the USA and solely aimed at an American audience.
Does anybody know how I could be charged in US dollars?
If payment can only be taken in dollars for those from the US, do you think it is possible for me to give a relative's American postal address and be billed in dollars even though I have a UK credit card?
Thanks for any advice :)
The average position works because they don't sell you a position. Your position is governed by how much you are prepared to pay and also the popularity of the ads you run. The more popular the ads you run are the less you will actually pay for a higher position, this is why a hig CTR (click through rate) is crucial. During the course of a day your ad will be shown. Dependant on the keyword searched for in your ad group will dictate the position you are shown in, the average is....... well the average of all of the times your ad was shown and in what position. It's important because if you want your ad to be seen by AOL users then you must be in the top 3, so if your average is 3.5 then you may want to consider paying a few cents or pennies more to get higher.
