I re-entered overture after the change to match driver, hadn't been using them for nearly 6 months, and now that I compare notes from now and back then, conversion was about 1/2 to 2/3 of what it was before, but my site has also changed considerably.

So I'm curious to know if anyone has had any obvious drops or climbs in conversion rates since the activation of match driver.

And If you have had a drop in conversion, have you and your competing bidders dropped bid prices yet?

I think part of the reasons behnd this difference could be due to Match Driver, it's probably due to more competition since then, it's probably due to the changes in the site, it's probably due to some people clicking less on ads tha they did 6 months ago.

I've not noticed anything radically different. We had around 5% of our keywords "amalgamated" into others, where the intention was totally obvious, but this has meant that some of the forms of say "uk widget" and "widget uk" now are merged but I'm paying more for one than the other.

It's not a sweeping change that has taken place, a lot of people got worried that control would be taken away. On some of our client accounts we felt they might have been able to go even further, but they didn't
