How to buy advertising on baidu.com?

Hello,
We're a UK based internet publisher. We're currently promoting three fantasy soccer games across Asia-Pac. We have English language, Korean language and
Mandarin versions.

We want to promote the Chinese language game on baidu.com, but we're finding it difficult to set-up. We don't speak Chinese and used a translator to help develop our site and create all necessary promotional phrases (in mandarin). We can't find an English speaking contact at Baidu - thinking we could book the adwords directly - and nor can we find an agency who will book adwords on our behalf.

We would be very grateful for any advice.

For active an account you need to pre-paid at least RMB1500 in your account. and the service fee is RMB600 per year.

I have met several staffs from Baidu that speak very good English. When you call Baidu, just ask for the Business Development Dept. as many of them speak English and they could pass you on to the right contacts. If you are stucked you can ask for the secretary of the CEO and ask her politly for help and I am sure she will pass you to the right person.

just search in google for 'baidu ppc' a couple of providers should show up.....i can't comment on their quality but it might be worthwhile to check them out.....

Baidu PPC ads are licensed to regional agencies arroud the country.

although the domestic advertisers register online by the form baidu have pulicly offered on it's site, (the one aimee have refered), the system will guide you to the agency that your company located.

that's mean the registering form is only for domestic customers.

For foreign friends want to try Baidu PPC, i think you'd better contact Baidu company directly, or find an agent outside or inside China, primary or secondary , to manage your ad campaigns. For as the Adwords program, they can choose keywords that best performed for your site.

One more thing, before all of that, you should translate your site from foreign characters to Chinese version(simple or traditional).
