online bank transfer in China

Chinese can fund their chinese paypal (paypal.com.cn) accounts with chinese bank cards and online bank transfers. Does anyone know how long such methods of payment take? Are they instantaneous?

Depends:

(bank to bank transfer)

1. Same city, same bank: instant

2. same city, different banks: instant (additional fee) or 1 business day (regular)

3. different cities, same bank: instant (some banks) or 2 business days

4. different cities, different banks: 2-3 business days

Thanks mate. Do you know how long it would take someone living in Shanghai to get money into the chinese paypal system (paypal.com.cn)? If say their bank was "china merchants bank" or "China Construction Bank" or ICBC?

The reason why I ask is that I have put a site up with Chinese paypal payment option (paypal.com.cn) and am getting a lot of traffic. But have received nothing through the paypal. Hoping that people are giving - but that it just has not reached me yet because of lags in them being able to get money into the paypal system.

I would be so grateful to hear from anyone that has used chinese paypal with an actual transaction. Is everything working OK?

Found this on the paypal website. I think i am right in saying that this states that it takes around 2 days for persons to be able to fund their paypal account by online bank transfer.
