Chinese affiliate market

Unlike the States, China does not have any big independent affiliate network at this time (like CJ, LinkShare, etc). Most affiliate businesses are in-house affiliate.

Anyone interested to build an affiliate network in China. A few companies have started to do this. For example, eachnet.com (Ebay in China) has its affiliate operated by third-party companies. I think it is a potential market.

Hi tntpower,
I have experience in this.
On 2002, I setup the first affiliate network (DEPOTNET) in China, and we also participated the 2002 Shenzhen High-Tech expo in the Canada booth area, after one year promotion, we had no good results, there are still a lot of problems on running a 3rd affiliate network.

It's also my concern. In-house affiliate is a bit better in China.

The major problems I had were:
1. Merchants: No sense on spending money on buying 3rd party service.
2. Affiliates: Promotion ways are too simple, 99% use spam :-)

I would like use pay-per-sale. So spam does not matter in this case.

If Spam in China is still ok, you are right, but I don't think you can achieve good performance.

My experience: 1 million impression vs. 0 sale

hzzenki,

You better be more active in webmasterworld, do & try something first before you start to think about partnership with other people.
