I have a Philippine based websites and its server is located at the Philippines. However, if i make a Google search with the radio button, "pages from the philippines" enabled, using a keyword in my website, my website does not appear in the search results. In short it only appear in "the web" result.
My theory about this problem is that Google does not know if my website is a Philippine based or not. My question is that, if my theory is wrong or correct, what should i do to include my websites in "pages from the Philippines" search results of Google?
Thanks in advance.

Hi
Your website will be included in the results if and only iff that has been hosted in your country and try clicing search within results after you get results to see your website

Good luck

jcmiras are you certain that your site is being hosted in the Philippines? It is possible that a reseller in the Philippines may be reselling hosting from another area. I would look up the IP of your website and then check to make sure that it is hosted locally in the Philippines.

I am assuming that you are not using a .ph domain name. Google representatives have said here that all that is needed to establish local presence is either a local domain name (in your case a .ph name) or local hosting.

My best guess from the information you've given is that a local hosting company in the Philippines is reselling cheaper hosting in the US. Check your site's IP address.

Its not decided by where your hosting is, its the location of the owner of the IP block your site occupies.

Yup, my site doesnt have .ph in the domain name.
Is there any criteria that google is using to qualify my website as "from the Philippines"? by the way, here is my ip, 67.18.x.x.

Toss your domain name into: [netcraft.com...] and see who it tells you is the block owner.
Probably not philipines based
If so, I guess you have the choice of not appearing in google.ph, changing hosting or moving to a .ph address? :(

Your IP resolves to an IP block in the USA, so your best option is probably to change hosts. Changing to a .ph with an established site can be done, but the transition might not be worth it for you.
