Domains Blocked by China

Anyone know how I can get my domains un-blocked by Chinese authorities?

I registered some very good Chinese related domain names many years ago. I was getting tons of traffic from China, and suddenly the traffic dropped off a cliff. I don't know for sure, but presume they were blocked by the Chinese authorities. I didn't (and don't) have any pornographic or otherwise contraversial content, so I don't know why they were blocked.

Anyone have suggestions? Thanks in advance.

I am not sure if your sites are of contents that only adults are allowed to get in.

I have no site (no content). The domains simply point to a blank page that measure traffic -- how many people typed in the domain name.

There is a very good research site about this topic entitled :Empirical Analysis of Internet Filtering in China [cyber.law.harvard.edu]. This site details a lot of the reasons a site may be banned in China, and may answer some of your questions...but not how to get un-banned.

They also have Real-Time Testing of Internet Filtering in China [cyber.law.harvard.edu] where you can ask them to check whether your site is being filtered. I haven't tried this as none of my Chinese sites have been banned in China, but this might be something that interests you.

I think ... They don't block your domains actually. What they do is adding your domain into the prohibit list in international DNS. Thus the fastest way is changing your host to China.
However, you may need to register your website information in police department of China.
