Asian web hosting

I want to host a web site somewhere in Asia. I realise what you are thinking - the hosts in N.America are much better. But for various reasons I really do have a preference for an asian location.

Does anyone know any good hosts in some of the more advanced asian economies: Taiwan, S.Korea, Malaysia, Japan etc.?

For instance Japan must have heaps. South korea, the most wired country in the world, must have a fair few as well. But the thing is that I can't seem to bring anything up on google. Very frustrating.

It would be preferable if the web hosting company had some english speaking capability. But not essential.

I am sure there are many guys out there that work in the IT industry - maybe even locally in Asia. I would be so grateful for some advice.
