Just wondering what anyone's experience of Bidsmart has been so far. One of my campaigns is being overcharged - I have bid $0.10 per click but it is charging me $0.90 per click, and they haven't responded to any of my help requests (over a week now, with reminders).

I have been billed correctly so far.

Are they showing these results on the yellow pages?

No I'm avoiding it like Yahoo local search - they can all get lost. My money goes in Google AU and Yellow pages online.

The ads for Sensis are heating up but the search results are still crappy so their ads are a waste of money really because no one will return.

Very little traffic so far, conversion has been so-so. Haven't been overcharged at all - but I do think some of the minimum bids are higher than their traffic can justify.

If the traffic improves I'll stick with it.

I've been contacted about the overcharging. Was related to a particular keyword I selected, and will be fixed with the next release in a couple of weeks.

I agree with traffic being fairly low. And yes the free results are really bad, way off in fact, but at least with the Pay Per Click you'll appear where you want to (and in some cases you could be the most relevant result on the page, considering the free results)

No, the BidSmart results do not show in the Yellow Pages proper. Of course, there is a Sensis Search box in the header, which doesn't count.

I don't sell anything within Australia, so my meagre campaign is entirely for the sake of observing the quality of the product and to learn from it.

Be keen to hear how your test campaign goes, in terms of your experience, traffic etc. Anything that you wililng to share would be great.

I limited my campaign to Australia and the numbers are too low to say. All but one referrals are from within Australia. One was from shawcable.net which I think is a Canadian cable company but he was using the Sensis Search interface. Therefore I don't know if I have understood the geotargeting correctly. (He may have used the organic result)

A proper test would require a representative spread of industries.
