Just received an email from Gigacode, stating that on 6/30 site management and registration information was transfered to Microsoft.
Background: Gigacode started out as a search engine for mobile sites in Japan, using an 8 or so digit coding system. With the introduction of Java they moved into payment and distribution of Java games.

David could you give us any more background on this engine? Is this the one that put number codes in magazines that you could then enter into your keitai to find sites? Were they successful with that? I don't see too much of this anymore...although bar-code scanning seems to be on the rise.
