Now it's final..Google is the heart of inspiration - but at least it gets companies like Yahoo! and Rediff going... ;)

Great to see more "innovation" in India though, congrats Rediff!

nah, not even close to gmail. using gmail since past 3 weeks, blazingly fast. And its fast. Oh, did i mention its fast? Used rediff too, so u can say i have compared

Yeah.. My grand momma is making plans on similar lines too..

Edit_g >>> Rediff is not exactly small fry. They are listed in NASDAQ. I will be quick to add that their balance sheet has not seen any color other than RED.

Not as big (or well known) as China's baidu/Sina right now - but apparently, the future looks good.

Not casting scorn on Rediff - but the 'offering more storage space for email' thing is getting a bit tired now... It only takes one market leader and, 6 months later, the innovation is standard.

Another advantage of rediff is the ability to signup on webmasterworld.. yahoo, hotmail etc are not allowed, but you can sign up using a rediff id.
