I'm assuming that these are all new search types...meaning that these aren't currently part of the Korean search option smorgasbord [webmasterworld.com] already. Are there language peculiarities that play into them being able to determine the precise meaning of search terms, or is this a result of the advanced monetization of Korean SERPs?

not 100% actually, though I suspect a good bit of both.
