I didnt mean registering, but selling or buying pre-owned domain. Sorry that I didnt make it clear

IMHO re-selling jp's is no different from cno's.

Policy is about the same. You'll still need to change the registrant info, which from memory I think can be done online, depending on who your registrar is.

co.jp's is another story though (not sure if you're including those in the .jp domain space)

If you'd like some more specific info, please give a little more detail.

If you're talking about the sales process itself, I believe that the buyer will have to pay an additional year's registration.

If you're talking about how to find appropriate buyers, that's something I'd also love to know as I'm sitting on some "juicy" domains!

JPRS policy unlike ICANN doesn't actually require you to renew the domain when doing a tansfer but most of the registrars like to force it so they get an extra few bucks!
