I belive there will be official speakers from both Google and Overture as well.

Any word on whether there will be any overseas presenters? Last time I looked it seemed the whole show would be in Japanese.

Not as far as I know.

I will be contacting them this week and I'll see if I can get an up-to-date list.

Kaz & Bill,

I plan to be at SES Japan. Will be in Japan to meet with a couple of clients, the in-laws and of course - Sakura no toorinuke.

No information on the site as of today about sessions or speakers. I spoke with them in Chicago about speaking as well as my wife (Native Japanese SEO)- No confirmation yet.

So far I am not aware of any of the usual suspects from the other shows who are speaking. I do not believe Danny will be there either. I hope to follow up with them at the New York event.

I would love to get a drink with any other AP SEO's who attend. I will be in Tokyo April 19 - 21. Osaka and Hiroshima area for the rest of the week.

I spoke with the organizers briefly today.

Sorry Bill, I forgot to ask about OS presenters but I'll ask tommorrow for you.

From what I can gather, most of the Japanese Corporations attending are more interested in speaking than having a booth.

A mix of SEM type companies as well as your standard SEO consulting companies will present. I'm guessing "their take on why you should choose them" will be the topic of discussion.

I confirmed that we can expect some speakers from overseas to be at the event.

Although no names were available, I believe a technical rep from Google (USA) will be speaking, perhaps an overseas guest from Overture, and some others but I didn't get a 100%, only a "thats what we hear" kind of answer.

Thanks for following up on that. I knew that the big guys weren't making the trip (D.S. and company), but wondered who might show up in their stead. I know that some Japanese companies are indeed interested in the world outside Japan. It would be good to get some firsthand info from the barbarians as well. ;)

This gaijin will be there -- so far I am not speaking at this one though...

I hope to see the IDG folks at SES in NYC next week and get an idea of who else may be attending.

Maybe we can set up some sort of informal get together for WebmasterWorld members to share tips & triks and a few Kirin.

Though I have a feeling we'll meet at the event anyway.

I wish I could make it. It sounds like there will be a good crowd. I've got to be in a friend's wedding in Florida when this whole thing will be happening, so I won't even be in the country.

I keep bumping this topic because I'm hoping for some news from you guys who will be there. ;)

I'm not sure I'm going to go yet - would probably mean struggling into a suit for the first time since early last year.
