search engine ban

users from some countries banned

hi,
i saw a search engine recently wherein for any search i would get "Listing denied, bad country -In"
Would anyone know what the reason for such a move coule be specialli since so many websites are made in india... is that an overload protection ..sticky me for the url... what could be the reasons for this move. any ideas

Sounds like an amateur job...I'd look for another search engine if I were you ;)

well they could just say something else instead of bad ... forget it..seems like they r a good for nothing bunch anyhow ..anybody who gets japan out is just a pure moron...
