SEO software: in house vs off the shelf

Hi Everyone,
Calling all Asian webmasters and SEO's..

For english based sites, there tons of good SEO software out there but not too much available that can handle Asian languages.

I just wondered how many people build their own, use locally made software or make do with english based software?

It is a problem kazonik and one that comes up in discussion every now and then. For example, a recent thread about Position Reporting Software in Asia [webmasterworld.com] where the concensus seemed to be that roll-your-own Scripts were the way to go.

The challenge is that while the numbers of Non-English users and markets is growing all the time, each market/language combination is not yet at the stage where it becomes economically viable to devote resources to writing specific software. This will come in time, but not quite yet.

It will be interesting to gather opinions of those working in other languages.
