Search giant Google announced today that it has extended the reach of its AdSense contextual advertising programme by adding five new interface languages. The move will enable publishers of websites in Spanish, French, German, Italian and Japanese to sign up for AdSense, which analyses the content of web pages and serves up relevant text ads.
Web sites that began displaying AdSense text links on their content pages in December include Nifty Corp., Impress Corp. and Recruit About.com. In addition, NEC Corp.'s BigGlobe.com launched AdSense ads last week, and Jiji Press plans to display the ads soon.
Anybody playing with Japanese AdSense yet?
Revenue seems to be fairly good, better than we expected.
I have another site I would like to run it on, but until they offer better blocking systems I will have to wait.
Just wish you could switch the language of management site back and forth.
