Yahoo Japan- Search not working

I just went to yahoo japan and see their search function isnt on! First time I've ever seen that from them. Anyone else notice this before?

You can still search from sub pages or the options screen.

It's not working for me from the front page either...hmmmm.

There's a message on the Japanese home page saying that search is not available now, and that they apologize for the inconvienence.

ご迷惑をおかけいたしますが、復旧までいましばらくお待ちください。

Just saw on Japanese TV news- Yahoo Japan, Goo, and Rakuten all had problems with their engines, and were down for about 3 hours. They are investigating the problem....

As of the morning after none of the "English press" in Japan has picked up on this yet. I haven't had time to read through the Japanese yet...You'd think that something like that would attract some attention on the news wires...

I never saw anything in the English press about this. I guess it was just a glitch that they fixed. Someone must have flicked the wrong switch ;)
