Does anyone know where I can find a website or software that can translate strings or blocks of romaji text into english? If you do, please reply to this message or email me.

I would suggest getting a human translator. All halfway decent Japanese -> English translation tools I know of work best with Hiragana/Katakana/Kanji combinations.

Hi Zannek, Welcome to WebmasterWorld.

I am probably showing my ignorance in this matter as I do not speak/read Japanese, but you may be able to use Babelfish [babelfish.altavista.com] for a rough translation, although I would not suggest using this for material you want to publish. There may be some other Japanese-English translators online although I am not aware of them, some of our members who target the Japanese market may know.

Another possibility might be the Systran Software which I understand now supports Asian languages.

...beat you Woz ;)

The type of translation Zannek is talking about is very specialized, and somewhat rare. I've heard rumors of tools like this in the manga and J-Pop translation circles, but never anything good. The standard online tools I'd usually recommend won't work in this case.
