Delays between Google US and Google Japan

Hi all, first post to the group :)

According to the posts on the general Google bbs, the update for March has started. My main page was updated for about 12 hours last saturday (3/1 japan time)-freshbot, but then removed.For those 12 hours my ranking was 4th for a major keyword. :)
As you can imagine, I'm a bit anxious about the new update and if that page will make it in!

So the question is...
Is there a delay between Google US updates and Google Japan updates?

You've really been following the update I see. This one just started only a couple of hours ago.

There is no www2 and www3 on Google Japan to check, so the update starts with Google in the US. From past experience everything seems to get updated at the same time. However, you're going to have to wait until things settle down before you can make your judgements on this update. The results will probably be jumping around all weekend and thru the beginning of next week.

Although it will not help with position in the new update you can determine if the page will be in the update. Simply enter address of the page in www2.google.com.

Other than that you just have to wait until the update is over and then wait a couple more days for Yahoo Japan to take up the data.

Look at this way at least you don't waste as much time looking at the updates to Google before they are finished.

Latest results seem to be showing up most of the time in Google.co.jp and Yahoo.co.jp.
