Strange characters in log file for Japanese site

Part of it looks like an encoding issue

I have been getting these strange lines in the log file for a Japanese language site. It would appear as though users are clicking through on the page cache in Google and the second part is the keyword search they used.

cache:oyvnmlvob50c:www.domain.info/content/accommodation/index1.htm 83%83E%83%9c83E%83%80%80M8a80%80M%97%8f

This page in particular has a large number of these sorts of entries. I don't understand why then this page would have so many cached views.

I have tried many different encodings to view the last part of the line, that I gather is the keyword(s) used, but I cannot ever get it to make sense.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

checked out that line with a bunch of different encoding options but couldn't get anything more than gibberish...try taking the part of the line that looks like it should be Japanese, put it in an html file and view it in a browser. That might help.
