Goo (Japan) traffic and submissions?

My experience with Japanese search engines (for Japanese language pages) is as follows:
Google is king!!
They feed many others and they deliver the traffic.

Looksmart
Did my money on this one. Very little traffic.

What about Goo?
I hear it is big, but Looksmart was supposed to be too.
I have submitted many pages and many times. I have seen the robot, but have no traffic after months.
Paid to submit to Inktomi, but was then told Goo does not use these results?

Goo has been a bit of a slug recently in terms of traffic. They performed a lot better back when they were the default for Yahoo Japan. Goo visits my sites all the time, but it appears few people use Goo. However, that's not to say there's no traffic. It's worthwhile to submit to Goo and InfoSeek once in a while, but don't worry too much about the traffic levels...they're low compared to Google.
