SOHU.com Voted Best Search Engine in China

According to this article [biz.yahoo.com] Sohu.com (Sohu = Search Fox) come out as the top Chinese Search Engine in a poll conducted by China Networks A-Z, and China/Hong Kong research company.

This has serious implications for people trying to break into the Chiese Net Market.

Interestingly, the only "western" engine to get a look-in was Google at number nine.

It's been almost a year, how's sohu.com ranking now? I'm thinking of dropping 2500 RMB on a listing there soon.

Does sohu supply results for other directories in China...not being able to read Chinese is a real handicap sometimes ;)

the main search engine one year ago, google ranked No.9, but today, I am sure google become one of top 3.

almost everybody who use google talk about google.
