Am looking at a .co.nz site which is hosted by AAPT in Australia and its IP address is confirmed by the Dnsstuff tool as being in Australia.

A global Google.com.au site: command shows thousands of indexed pages. Limiting the search to Pages from Australia shows zero pages.

Anyone else seeing this?

(Speaking more generally, today I am seeing vastly different global results for other search terms, i.e. lots of .au results on the first page. Previously we saw 1 or 2 .au results on the first page. I am not referring to Pages from Australia. This will affect sites that need global organic traffic)

I am seeing the same no results for .co.nz in results from Au.

re: more regionalised results - I noticed this a while back, but today mine appear to be quite international. What search are you searching? Might be getting a different data center.

Pretty significant change. Thanks for the feedback, as this needs to go to the Google or Supporters forum if it hasn't been discussed before.

Only site:.com gives a result for Pages from Australia - any other ccTLD fails.
