I saw that this was a big story last night on CNN and BBC news. It was amusing listening to some of the commentary. They downplay or completely ignore that this is the same compromise Yahoo made years ago. Any other SE wishing to enter the Chinese market will also have to do the same. Of course this comes right on the heels of the case where the US government is requesting that Google hand over data and Google is refusing. That gave the commentators plenty of fodder for their rants. ;)
