The beta version of Microsoft's Chinese language search engine is now online:
[beta.search.msn.com.cn...]
The beta offers web search and desktop search options along with some of the search refinement tools offered on other language versions of MSN Search.

The MSN China SERPS have my sites placed well on a few keyword searches, so I'm inclined to give this one good marks for relevancy. ;) What does everybody else think?

results look same as regular MS Search results.

Does this mean that i'll get MORE visitors from China?! Great.

Hi bill, thank you for the update. My site has been indexed very fast and deep by MSN china. I can see my article which I wrote just yestersday (i think it was less than 24 hours). I also compared google results and found that MSN china indexed 3 times more number of pages than google as far as my site is concerned. I did not get a good ranking right now since the site is quite new. I hope MSN china will bring good traffic soon. Let's continue update this thread and share observed results.

Hi,

Yes, I can see at least some of my pages in there by looking up my Chinese content.

I don't think that it's quite as sharp as Google, but it's OK at first glance.

Rgds
