the Central people's Government PRC£¨ www.gov.cn £©will be formally open on the New year day. Chinese simplified, Chinese traditional, English versions will be available. It also offers online services to foreigners.

Interesting. It looks like it's already open today. [english.gov.cn ] What a great information resource.

The English site looks to be using a CMS. Anybody know what it is?

Oh, It is an interesting site!

The interesting point is that the content of the Chinese version is different from that of its English version. The Chinese version is for Chinese who are ruled under the Communist Party, the English version is for overseas visitors.

One more point, you will notice that different kinds of on-line services are offered in the site, but....please do not rely on these on-line services too much.
