Two sites. Are they in sandbox or not?

I created 2 sites, the first 2 months ago and the second 20 days ago.

When I search "www.mysite.com" I obtain correct results.

Are they in the sandbox or not?

Regards.

A site search has nothing to do with the sandbox effect, all that tells you is whether or not your site has been “indexed”; meaning Google has crawled your site and included it in their index of sites. As you probably know, if you search site:www.mydomain.com what is returned are the pages from your site Google has in the index. You might get none, some, or all depending these days on how motivated Google was in crawling your site.

The Sandboxing effect has more to do with ranking frustration.

Heres a way to get some flavor of the Sandboxing effect;

Search in Google using these commands;

allinanchor:your main keyword

allintitle:your main key word

allintext:your main key word

allinurl:your main keyword

(for an explanation of these commands; [google.com...]

If your site appears within the first, say 5 pages for the above commands, but when you search without any commands, just using your main key word, and your site does not appear within the first 1,000 results you get a sense of this effect. If you’re successful with the above commands, then its safe to assume your site is about “your main keyword”. However when you can’t get it to be displayed in the 1,000 results returned you may be suffering from this ranking frustration some call the sandbox.
