Hi abacuss,

The first thing i would say is that it depends on the Keyword you would like to optimize for as well as the link popularity you have for your client site. Please check how competitive is the keyword that you are looking for and also check what is making other sites rank for that keywords so that you will get an idea of wats missing

Are you saying you are not listed in Google at all - using the site:www.yoursite.com? I don't see how you could have pagerank and not be in Google's index "somewhere". A bit more info would be helpful.

One of our sites' main page had a toolbar PR3 but NO page from the site was in Google's index until this week.

Actually the google toolbar is showing a PR3 for the site but when I do a site:www.domain.com the site does not show up for the result but the same site shows all its pages when I do site:www.domain.com at Yahoo.

Please suggest. Thanks in advance.

Recently I did a redirection using javascript. Now I realize that it should be done using the mod_rewrite option.

Any suggestion is welcome. Thanks in advance.

First the site was coming for the URL now. Secondly its coming well for MSN and Yahoo so i suppose there cant be much wrong in the site.

Moreover both te link and the cached doesnt work.

Recently I did a redirection using javascript. Now I realize that it should be done using the mod_rewrite option.

That may be the problem-javascript redirect. Matt Cutts said in his Aug 19 blog:

I’ll issue a small weather report: I would not recommend using sneaky JavaScript redirects. Your domains might get rained on in the near future.
