We have a page on our site with quite a few chemical datasheets, perhaps 60-70, all pointing to pdf or doc files. They are in 3 different tables, one has about 30 links.

Google seems to only index 1/3 of the links. I can't find any order in which ones are indexed and which aren't. How can I make google index ALL of the links?

I created a sitemap over two months ago. Doesn't seem to have helped much.

At least your getting indexed.... Most of us who have had sites for years have been getting de-indexed...

Links will help....

One step you can take is to ensure that each pdf and doc file has good meta-data in the file itself. Not a magic pill, but it's helpful.

In MS Word, check under File > Properties.
In Adobe Acrobat, check under File > Document Properties > Summary

Thanks.

Been looking into it. For .doc files this seems to be the case, where Title is used as heading in google.

Could not find 'summary' in pdf files, but found title, which doesn't seem to be used at all. If I searched for the term that stood in title, google would not find it.
