I am came out of a penalty recently due to a mistake with mod_rewrite and what appeared to be duplicate content (long explanation...not necessary for here). Since that time, I put in place proper 301 redirects to let Google know that I changed my URL structure.
Here's the problem, its been nearly 3 months and Google is STILL showing really old information. I have links from Digg, Slashdot, Del.icio.us, Blinklist, and literally thousands of other quality websites, but Google still refuses to index the 301's properly.
Is anyone else having a problem with 301's taking properly - and do you think my problem might be related to that old penalty?
