What to do to make Google index my NEW content?

Hello all,

Well, whenever I add new contents in any of my website, Google index the new contents after like 1 month or so. Sometimes even after 2 months in case of some of my websites.

Now I see many websites get indexed(the new contents) within hours of adding new contents to their website.

How come their NEW Contents get indexed within some hours?

I really like to know about it since I'm planning to put up a Local news Website. And you know its so important for a news site to get indexed every few hours or so. That way people can get latest local news by searching in Google (If I get that much of luck ofcourse)

So, I hope to get some good reply from all you Experienced webmasters.

** I tried Google Sitemap, Google bot does download my sityemap but its not indexing my new contents.
Any idea on that?

Hello Kishore,

Google obviuosly thinks your site is not yet worth a daily visit. My experience tells me that you can only change that by adding content to your site continuosly. Once Google "sees" that the site is not completely static it will pay more attention to it by crawling it more often.
