I was doing some datacenter checking when I came across something new.

FOR http://66.102.9.99/search?q=KEYWORD&hl=en&lr=&start=10&sa=N
POSITION 17

FOR http://66.102.9.99/ie?q=KEYWORD&num=100&start=0&ie=UTF-8&oe=UTF-8&filter=0
POSITION 24

FOR http://66.102.9.99/ie?q=KEYWORD&num=100&start=0&ie=UTF-8&oe=UTF-8
NOT IN SERPS

Can anyone explain this? Thanks

unless I'm wrong, I'm guessing that you are questioning the fact the the link does not show YOU in the results...

Keep in mind that occasionally G throws users results from very different data centers on a random basis..

I get the same thing myself almost daily...

it's nothing to worry about, and it's nothing you're doing that makes it happen...

the user accessed a different data set than you did when making the query...so they saw different results than you did....simple

Hope that helps!

ok...Im an idiot....I didn't quite read into that enough...

are you asking why you don't show on some data centers and do show on others?

I was wondering why my website appeared in the line item style listings of that particular datcenter (plus two others) only when I turned the filter off. On the regular , complete listing style the website appeared in the SERPs.

UPDATE: The website is now appearing for the query in question. I suspect it was a Googlitch (Google Glitch). It would be interesting to see if this Googlitch can be replicated for other sites and under what circumstances it occurs.

The ie search is often different than the regular one.

Those three searches are all from the same DC.
