Hey WebmasterWorld!

My site went online in January this year, and pretty quickly it got its first googlebot visit - (after about two weeks). After 6 weeks around 40,000 pages had been spidered, and PR had climbed from 0 to 6 after getting more and more backlinks. Things looked pretty good in the beginning - in March my site had about 500+ uniques per day, but then suddenly on April 1, traffic dropped to its current level - 150 uniques. PR is still the same, as is number of backlinks and spidered pages.
Not the typical sandbox-scenario, but perhaps its a variation - or not? - What do you think?

I think I would look at detailed stats to see exactly where the traffic used to be coming from, and where it's not coming from now.

The number of pages you have indexed with Google may vary wildly between data centers. Especially with some serious flux during the past few weeks. One of our sites is showing 155,000 pages indexed at most of the DCs, but several are showing about 200 (without the ,000 after the number!). If a searcher hits a DC without the "full" load, they're probably not going to find your site.

Check your logs to look at where your traffic has been coming from.
