We have many customers who link to us from .edu addresses. I know Google likely considers these as more powerful in their algo since they are coming from trusted sites but upon further inspection - these links typically come from student pages which have no direct path from the index. I see a lot of this: dname.edu/~name/link.htm - would these types of links still worth as much?
