I've just searched for "digital photos storing archiving" (without quotes) in Google and found many synonyms and variants of these keywords in bold across the search result pages. For instance the following words are displayed in bold: storage, store, archive.
Is this a brand new feature? I haven't seen it yet, unless I used the ~ (tilda) in front of a keyword.
Is this really so old? I know stemming was discussed since Florida and I also suppose Google is using some kind of LSI or other methods of finding similar terms, but I've never seen synonyms in bold in SERPs, unless I use a query with tilda in front of a keyword. However it's true I don't search in English so often and in my mother tangue even tidla doesn't work.
