Greetings,... this is my first post, so please excuse if I am in the wrong group. Our site had been #1,2 or 3 for the last couple of weeks on google under search phrase "family entertainment centers" in the last week it's been #2 in the morning and #7 on page 13 in the afternoon, then back to #3 in the evening and tomorrow morning it's lost again on page 11 somewhere. Can anyone tell me what may be going on? We changed the background colors a few days prior, but it looks like google has not spidered in in awhile.
Thank you very much...

Hello Greek Charlie, and welcome to the forms.

No, it's not your new background colors. Google maintains many different data centers and uses different result sets for different times, locations, server load, and even the user's browser. Apparently right now your site is ranked very differently at different data centers. There's a lot of this going around.

Thanks Tedster... I have been reading about google site maps and as yet do not have - and from reviewing their faq's, it seems technically beyond me. This is the reason I upgraded to Macromedia Studio 8 -- so I wouldn't have to futz with all this coding... yikes. As of this morning, google has still dropped us to the bottom 11 or so pages.
