It appears that over the last few days, Google has been ignoring our meta descriptions and has choosen to display random text from our pages for the SERP descriptions. I operate a retail site with 5000 products, many of which have customer reviews, and google is displaying random snippets of their comments for my listings. this is a nightmare....has anyone else been seeing this?

Google has been doing this for years. It's nothing new.

For my site, google stopped indexing the meta description for pages cached April 28 and later.
