Number of Web Pages In Google's Index

How to find the number of pages in Google's Index?

I have a particular page x.asp that is a dynamic webpage that provides different information from the database depending on the URL string.

For eg.
x.asp?Id=1 gives a different page than x.asp?Id=2

Using site:www.mysite.com in Google gives me a list of the pages in Google's index, but how can I find all instances of x.asp that are in the index?

Please help.

I have another page xSomeNumber.html

eg. x123214.html, x5321233.html, x834200112.html

How can I get all versions of xSomeNumber.html that are in Google's index?

You could change to inurl:x or inurl:/x but this may be to wide. if there is something constant preceeding /x include it as well. Failing that assuming all these pages are made from a common template try.

site:www.mysite.com "template text snippet"

Good luck

How do I use inurl:x or inurl:/x?

I can't use site:www.mysite.com "template text snippet" since I don't have any common text on for eg. x123214.html, x5321233.html, x834200112.html

Also do you know how I can check if pages are in Google's Supplemental Index?

Ignore my last post, I see inurl works only on whole words. I dont think there is a direct way of doing what you require. Is there some way of specifying pages you dont want, by content or url structure maybe?

Some goes for supplementals, no direct way. Supplementals will not show if enough hits found in main index. Search within site for something rare. Supplementals appear after main results marked Supplemental.

How do I find out Google backlinks from a particular site (ie. I only want backlinks from 1 site and not all backlinks)?

Yahoo site explorer or alltheweb.com make these types of searches a lot easier.

How can I do this in Google, Yahoo, MSN, and AllTheWeb?
