My site title is not correctly updated in the Google, but in MSN it shows correctly.

What can be the reasons?

Either Google hasn't visited your site recently to index the new title, or your site is being effected by the crawl problem discussed here:

Give it some time and it should eventually update.

No my site is visted by Google almost every 3-4 days, I can see the pages are indexed, but only the front page index is not correctly updated.

Then most likely you are having the same problem a bunch of us are having. Read above.

Google Crawls site and no changes and new pages show up in the index.

By any chance is the "stale" title also the current title at DMOZ?

Hi Folks

smartcard has been kind to sticky me his url, and I took a look.

Here is a Reseller situation analysis.. only on WebmasterWorld :-)

When run command site: I can see the "old" title of the page. However the cache of the homepage is as fresh as 19 Apr 2006 03:30:22 GMT.
Which might indicate that smartcard might have changed the title after that date.
Which might mean that smartcard just need to wait for maybe a week or so to see the homepage indexed with new title.

On Google Datacenters, all data centers show the old title, except for 64.233.167.99 and
64.233.167.104 which show DMOZ title.

I hope this help.
