Whilst checking out the top-dog in my field, i noticed they have bought lot's of domains and redirected them to their main site.
OK, that's fine, and makes sense, because people typing keyword.com will find their site.
But- after further research i discovered one particular redirect was a (it would seem)dynamic page from a pr9 site.
How did they manage that? and will it help considering relevancy=0

Was the "PR9 site" redirect coming from a domain that is now also owned by the top-dog? Or was the site still active for some other organization and just this one url was a redirect?

Maybe paid redirects are the new replacement for paid links, eh?
