Hi,

My 7 year old site had been indexed in google as [domain.com...] instead of [domain.com.It...] had a 302 redirect from [domain.com...] to [domain.com.However...] both the domins i.e(with www and without www) used to show a Toolbar PR of 6.

About a month back we changed the 302 redirect to 301. So the URL [domain.com...] was 301 redirected to [domain.com....]
After this change i found that for the URL [domain.com...] the PR went down to ZERO. However the URL [domain.com...] is still showing the PR of 6.
Google is still showing my URL as [domain.com...] in the SERPs. The positions in the SERPs are still the same.

I really cannot understand why the PR of domain with www is showing a PR of 0.

Pls Help
Alfred

Alfred,
Yes, I have the same problem. Dayo_UK is one of experts in this area.

Basically, all my internal pages went to PR0 as a result of doing the recommended 301 redirect.

All the pages are listed in google as non-www still in spite of the redirect (the redirect works fine by the way in case any one asks)

Internal pages were PR5 before the last PR update.

I have tried everything I can think of, to fix this site over a period of about six months now.

As I have said since the begining, this is Google's problem not ours.

Did bigdaddy fix this as it was supposed to? No.

Will they fix it sometime? maybe..

Will they fix it in our online lifetimes?...looking doubtful.
