Log files show bot but no listing

I can see in my logs that the bot is visiting my site, showing several links that the bot finds either through scanning the site or hitting the google sitemap - but these links are not reflected in searching site:domain.com.

How long does it take for these links to appear in my site: search after I see from my logs that I was visited?

I know there is nothing solid on this answer but why would they show in my log file but not appear in google search?

This seems to be happening - others have reported it too. I have seen this on one if my sites.
