I've got a forum member very displeased at an old post still in googles cache (although the thread has been deleted). If I use the google page removal tool to get rid of this page, are there any associated penalties?
The page has been removed for weeks, but it is still in the cache. I've put a "blank" link to it to try and update the cache, but no luck as yet.

Read [google.com...] In this link there are also advices how to remove from the cache with the meta tags.
