Are you penalized for having Adwords?

I once heard if you run a campaign, the domain you point to will get a penalty for regular SEO, is this true?

I've noticed my adwords domains not receive any organic clicks, but it could just be coincidence. I also stopped promoting one of my domains in my campaign, but can't seem to get the site spidered. When I do a search on the domain name, it shows just one page listed, my index page.

What's the best way to get sites spidered? The site i'm referring to now has about 15 pages to it and growing daily. Thanks!

No, a site is not penalized for having run Adwords.

You can get a site spidered through inbound links, or through the free Google Sitemaps program. Since you do see the site's index page but no other pages, it sounds like there may be a spidering problem of some kind with your pages and/or links. The Sitemap program may give you valuable feedback on where any obstacles to spidering are.
