Google Images Update

Seen increase on several sites from google images

I can't see the new results on my default google datacenter yet, but I have noticed an increase in google images referals on two sites, and the begining of google images referals on two other sites. This started about 5 to 7 days ago, and traffic has increased slowly as more datacenters pick it up.

Anyone else?

Yep, and they've indexed a few images from a directory I had blocked in robots.txt. Hmph!

Ah, this may explain the downturn in traffic I've been seeing. Pity, as I've had almost 2/5ths of my traffic knocked off. I'm just desperatly searching for a cause to be quite honest.

I have seen some small changes though not for all search terms.

WIll be interesting to see how it pans out.
