Big Daddy adds over 900k pages but I lose Google traffic

Well I thought Big Daddy was going to be a huge hit for us. We went from about 140k pages indexed to 1.26 million as of this morning (this number is fluctuating daily from about 1 to 1.2 million). But, although during the Big Daddy testing period we were doing markedly better with referrals from Google search (about 3,500 a day compared to 2,200 prior) in the last week we are right back to the same pre-BD levels. PageRank is still a 5 - where it seems to have been for years. All the major keywords I follow still seem #1 - so I think I am losing traffic in an older part of my site, or somewhere where I used to get 2 or 3 refferals a day per page, like old dining reviews or old forum posts... can't quite figure it out but it is a bummer. Any ideas?

After Big Daddy was deployed, which took a while, I think Google started turning the dials and applying filters that had been missing during the roll-out. After all, Matt Cutts did say that when it was all done, the final result would be gentle compared to an algorithm update.

Yes I can understand that - but - we are done by a large pecentage in the results, while the amount of our pages in the index increased by 9 times. Just a little disappointing to say the least.
