in less than 10 days 2 of my sites have completely vanished from Google index, does this spell out a penalty?

If you do a site:your domain returns zero results, it is most likely that your site is banned. However if your site is a new site, it may take awhile for google to index it.

yep, i think banned too.
my partner just told me that the Chinese symbol for 'crisis' is the same as for 'opportunity'.

have you done something in your site that would make you think you might be banned?

what does it mean when one of your sites has had old caches -2 years for what seems like since this fall and the title and description hasn't been updated since? Is that a penalty?

1 of my sites disappeared last Thursday. Gone, completely.
Yesterday it returned as before.
No alterations, changes etc. It just vanished and reappeared.
I hope you have the same good fortune.
