trouble getting google to index a foreign language page

indexing foreign language (spanish) page with google

I have a simple site in english and spanish, each with its on index page. Google indexes only the main english page. I have had multilanguage pages in past with no difficulty getting them listed.

Any help or ideas welcome.

a) you must link your index file in spanish from a frequently spidered page (high PR means your page will be spidered quick)
b) don't rename the english page index.html and the spanish page index.htm (or anything that could confuse the bots)

Don't forget GoogleĦs bot is becoming lazy. Check your spanish page in Yahoo! search and MSN search.
